A two-component epoxy coating designed to adhere strongly to wood, aluminum, galvanized surfaces and fiberglass materials after many months of hard use. Seals rivets and prevents leaks. Protects against impact from rocks and debris. It is flexible, tough, chemical resistant and an electrical insulator. Usable as a floor-coating for concrete, boat decks, pontoons, air boats, storage tanks, foam ice boxes, cisterns, freezer walls, photo developing sinks, and teak decks. Application: 1. Prepare surface properly before application. For aluminum, clean with wire brush and etch with mild etching chemical. For fiberglass or wood surfaces, remove previous paints or primers completely - do not use on pressure treated wood. 2. Mix equal parts by volume of Part 1 and Part 2 thoroughly. Make sure Part 1 and Part 2 become a uniform color with no streaks; this will ensure a proper mix. If you are adding color to epoxy, mix pigment into Part 2 thoroughly before mixing Part 1 and Part 2 together. Do not exceed 1 OZ of pigment per quart total mixture of epoxy. 3. Steelflex may be applied using a squeegee, brush, roller or other means to spread an even coat across the surface. Spraying is not recommended. Coverage: When properly applied? 30 ft2 per QT. 120 ft2 per Gal. Color: Available in neutral and clear on our other listings. To create pastel colors, use a white-base. For deeper, true colors, use our neutral base. Mixes: 1:1 Ratio
